This session will cover:

  • LGBTQIA+ specific dynamics of domestic abuse

  • Identity based abuse and coercive control

  • Common barriers to disclosure and support

  • Good practice principles for inclusive responses

This workshop is for:

  • Domestic abuse practitioners

  • Support workers and advocates

  • Health, social care and safeguarding professionals

The session is grounded in research and practice.
