Get Your Tickets Here!

A practical workshop for community members on how to notice concerns and respond with care and support.

Many people want to help when they are worried about someone they care about, but do not know what to say or do. This can feel even harder when abuse involves LGBTQIA+ identities or relationships.

This workshop focuses on how to notice when something may not be right, and how to respond in ways that feel supportive, respectful and safe.

This session will cover:

  • Signs that someone may be experiencing abuse

  • How to start a conversation without pressure

  • What helps and what can make things harder

  • How to support without trying to fix or rescue

This workshop is for:

  • LGBTQIA+ community members

  • Friends and allies

  • People supporting others informally

You will leave with practical tools and greater confidence.
